GRADIA CORE

rock solid at all depths
Multifunctional

Ideal thixotropy: fluid under pressure for post luting, keeps its shape during core build-up.

Secure retention & optimal polymerisation

Used with the universal bonding
G-Premio BOND and its dual-cure activator (DCA) for reduced inventory & safe polymerisation, even at the deepest point of the root canal.

Cuts like dentin

Easy to shape with a bur, ensuring smooth transitions and clean, precise margins.

everX Flow

strongest dentin reinforcement composite
Strong to the core

Extremely high fracture toughness to reinforce restorations & stop crack propagation, thanks to GC’s unique short fiber technology.

Ideal for
‘no post technique’

The glass fibres inside everX Flow strengthen the restoration like iron rebar in construction, making it perfectly suited for post-endo restorations of large posterior teeth.

Perfect handling

Adapts perfectly to every preparation and yet it doesn’t slump when building it up.

Indications GRADIA CORE

GRADIA CORE is indicated for both post luting and core build-up with the ease of mind to have a secure bond strength and good performance even in deep canals.

Indications everX Flow

everX Flow is the go-to material when extra strength is needed; large/deep posterior cavities, endo-treated teeth and cavity with missing cusps. Available in two shades, bulk and dentin, to make it ideal for deep cavities and aesthetic core build-up.

FAQ Gradia Core

Can I use GRADIA CORE with any type of posts (fibers & metal)?

Yes, you can as long as the posts are treated in the correct way.

Which bonding system is recommended?

The universal bonding agent G-Premio BOND and its dual-cure activator (DCA) can be used with GRADIA CORE, as well as with any other light-cured composite and composite luting from GC.

Do I need to etch the preparation?

No, etching is not needed as long at the recommended bonding agent is used.

Is there any limitation in depth of cure?

GRADIA CORE is dual cure and therefore a secured self-curing can take place at any depth of the restoration.

What is the filler content?

Approximately 75wt%.

Is GRADIA CORE radiopaque?

Yes. 268% Al. as it contains fluoroalumino silicate glass filler.

Which pre-treatment method is recommended for the canal before applying G-Premio Bond?

Clean the canal in usual manner, any cleaning method could be used for this purpose.

In case of hydrogen peroxide and EDTA used, the residue might decrease the bonding strength. Therefore, when those cleaners are used, please rinse and clean the root canal with water carefully.
The bonding strength data with/without pre-treatment of hypochlorite to root dentine has been tested and no difference on the bond strength was found (both has 20.5 MPa).

Should G-Premio Bond be light cured even when used with DCA?

Yes, it is mandatory to light cure the adhesive before dispensing Gradia Core into the canal. The bond strength when light-cured becomes higher than that when only self-cured.

  • The parts near coronal and upper root canal where light is well reached need especially high bond strength.
  • Therefore we recommend light-curing even when DCA is used.
  • This recommendation is the same as Gradia Core A&B.

Of course GPB+DCA has also contact cure.

What are the working and setting Time of Gradia Core?

  • Working time (23°C) 3 minutes
  • Setting time (self-cure) (37°C) 5 minutes

What is the storage recommendation?

  • Store in refrigerator (2-8°C / 35.6-46.4°F).
